Salons v Clinic Procedures

It can sometimes be quite deceiving when you read about a treatment you may be thinking of getting. Let's take teeth whiting as an example. You could see it in one place for $50 and another place for $500.

The reason for the big difference in price would probably be this - one would be from a salon (or similar) the other would be from a clinic.

While the treatment from a salon can still be effective, and work very well, it's not the same as clinical treatment.

If you got teeth whitening from a clinic you would expect it to be performed by a dentist, using specialist equipment, and perhaps even get given various aftercare equipment after the initial whitening.

This is why the price difference is so big. It's so important to know what you're getting with each type of treatment.

Which one you get depends on a number of factors. Such as your budget, how much work you need doing (if you need serious work doing then a clinic should be better), and the kind of results you're after.

Just keep in mind, two treatments are rarely the same!
